Melissa
Andrade was born and raised in Panama City,
Florida. She obtained a Bachelor of Science
degree in Elementary Education from Florida
State University.
Ms. Andrade taught fourth grade for two
years and assisted with writing the
curriculum for a conflict resolution program
for grades K-5.
In 2000, Ms. Andrade returned to Florida
State University where she obtained her
Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ms.
Andrade was a member of the Phi Delta Phi
Legal Fraternity and the Tallahassee chapter
of Inns of Court. She also participated in
an externship at Legal Services of North
Florida.
Ms. Andrade began working at the firm in
2003 and practices in many areas of law,
including real estate, family law, criminal
defense and civil trial practice. Ms.
Andrade is admitted to practice before the
United States District Court for the Middle
District of Florida.
Ms. Andrade is a memeber of the D. R. Smith
American Inn of Court, and she is also an active
member of the Ocala Lions Club.
